The only two year-old Gorman now has in training is he colt Rob Carpner. which is out of Jane Kacel, by Demonio. Marchtnont II. is still a young horse, being only twelve years old. He sired injury when he was live years old. Mr. Fuller regrets thai Injury i- a gelding, as he is u well-bred horse, being oat Of Sweet Hanger, a daughter of Deceiver. J. F. Newman has decided not to permit any outside mares to be mated this year with Abe Frank. his promising young Hanover stallion, the sire of the stake wiuners Caltsse, Closer and Pan Zar.ta. which he has now at the head of his breeding Stud at his Sweetwater ranch in Texas. He does not intend that Abe Franks services shall lie overtaxed even in his young days, as lie believes that with limited mating he will get butter results. Last season Mm Frank had out eight two-year-old winner:;. Which won a total of twenty-six races and earn 1 Sl.l.lOO in stakes and purses. This year Pan Bare! i. Reulah Mc anil Mother Kalcham have also won foi him. while Pat Gannon. Vested Rights and Base Rablee have all shown good form in their races. Mr. New in in still has The Irishman, as a companion to Abe Frank in the stud. He is also of the Hanover line, being by Hamburg — Ballyhoo. In Uncle Ren. The Irishman has to his credit a useful young home.
