BROWNE MARES DESTINED FOR CANADA Montreal One April 12 Grant Hugh Browne of New York is sending the following thoroughbred mares to Montreal to l c mated with the Canadian National Breeding Bureau stallion Oiscau Lady Rosalie by Handspring Tender and True by Sir Dixon Miss Dooley by Griffon Marcelles by Mo rello Beckon by Plaudit French Glass by Bo ¬ hemian Glass and Lucy Jumps by Lucifer All these mares will remain in Canada until after they foal and their colts will eligible for all Canadian bred races They are choice thoroughbreds and from a horso like Oiseau should breed some good racers racersThe The National Bureau will show Roscmount Strin ¬ gency and Martin Doyle at the Toronto Horse Show in May As those horses are standing in Ontario tlioy are not eligible for the stallion class at the Montreal Horse Show but the Montreal exhibit nevertheless will bo a remarkable one Including Light Wool Oiseau Valjcan Fort Hunter Beau Gallant Rcidmoore and perhaps one or two others othersThe The Ben Brush stallion Frank Navin has been brought In from Lancaster Ont to join the Bureau shipment to the west The Bureau has the Sain horse Earl Rogers stationed at Lancaster
