RACING COMMISSION TO MEET Governing Body in Kentucky Has Budget of Business to Consider Next Saturday Lexington Ky April 20 Contemporaneous with the inauguration of the 1U12 Kentucky racing season here next Saturday the Kentucky State Racing Com ¬ mission will hold a meeting in pursuance of its ad ¬ journment on March 23 Much of the time of the commissioners at this meeting will be taken up with the issuance of licenses to trainers and jockeys TUa oUichils for the Lexington Louisville and Latouia spring meetings will also be passed upon It is probable that these appointments will be practically as they were last year Bids for the Kentucky Eu durance Stakes at four miles to have not less than 0000 added are also to be received The request of the newspapers of Louisville and elsewhere for a modification of the rule prohibiting telephone or tele ¬ graph service on the racing grounds during any meeting will receive consideration An inspector of parimutuel machines and parimutuel betting to be paid a salary of 20 per day is to lie appointed but there is here1 no intimation as to who is likely to be named This is one position that has not created a rush of applicants The man who accepts the ap ¬ pointment will have a lot of responsibility to shoul ¬ der and he must needs be a fast thinker and a fast mover if be undertakes to tab all machines and watch the calculations after each race as probably will be required of him himThe The following measure which was introduced at the meeting of November 18 and discussed and de ¬ ferred at the meeting in March will also come iin for final action actionAnyone Anyone guilty of making a handbook on the grounds of any racing association licensed by tho commission during any race meeting thereon shnll be ejected from the grounds and any owner trainer jockey or other person interested in any horse horses at said race meetiug who shall be guiltv or of betting with or through auy such handbook shall he ejected from the grounds and the license of such ner rve llmlsed by thls commission shall be
