WANT NO AMERICAN THOROUGHBREDS Lexington Ky April 20 Dr Maurice M Leach who went to Australia last fall taking the four yearold Keswlck and five twoyearolds in company with the shipment of Andrew Robertson is en route home He is coming via Vancouver and expects to reach Lexington about May 4 In bis most recent letter Dr Leach said the stallions Planudes Tho Scribe and Mazagan all Imported from England to the United States and thence to Australia had been well received by the Antlpodcans and that the pros ¬ pects for successful seasons for each of them at the Allendale Farm of the Messrs Tye are quite flatter ¬ ing Horses coming here from the United States with English pedigreed receive due consideration wrote Dr Leach but the American thoronchbred is not at all In request and It is folly to brins them here with an eye to profit through the medium of the sales ring Dr Leach said that he had de ¬ cided to go to England next fall and make selection of another consignment to go to Australia
