NIMBUS A WINNER AT ALAN Spokane Wash May 7 The interest In racing at Coeur dAIene is increasing as shown today when four more layers joined the ranks of the ring ine weather was of the summer variety and the racing spirited Velie Forty took the first race Rosa Iteblce met with considerable interference on the far turn hut gamely came on and forced Velie Forty out at the end Canapa took the second from an ordinary band drawing away from them in the last hundred yards Nimbus furnished the surprise of the day by taking the fourth race at liberal odds oddsWilliam William Pinkerton was a guest of the association hen today He was Impressed with the magnitude of the Coeur dAIene plant plantJack Jack Rose Fred Frankel Sam Korper and E G Martin were the new layers in line today Jockey KIrschbaum was susi ended for three days by starter Dwyer Jockey Corey received five days for disobedience at the post and Jockey Frasch three days for rough riding in the fourth race
