AMATEURS IN SADDLE AT TULSA Tulsa Okla July 1C A large crowd was out to day to witness the running of a race for gentle ¬ men riders which went to Lizzie Irene the favorite well ridden by Mr Martindale Arrowshaft was well backed in the second race which was a sub ¬ stitute for the original second race declared off It was won by Colonel Austin which had been nog bcted in the hotting Miss Campus another well backed good thing captured the third race by a short head Fasces from the stable of J L Hoi laud heavily backed and running in improved form easily won the twoyearold raw Kva Tanguay neglected in the betting failed to Bulk today and easily won the sixth race
