LEOCHABES AGAIN WIMER SCHORR TWOYEAROLD ONCE MORE TAKES MEASURE OF CALGARY Two Crack Juveniles figure in Nose Finish at Wood ¬ bine Star Charter Has a Close Call in the Toronto Autumn Cup Toronto Out September 21 The litml mooting of tlic Canadian season began today with the open ¬ ing of the Ontario Jockey Clubs fall season of seven days A splendid program was provided and stirring contests resulted The first three races resulted iii nose finishes and in two of them horses from the stable of John W Schorr were the victors Ploas tint weather and a fast track attracted the full quota of racegmrs to Woodbine the attendance being especially largo in the clubhouse enclosure Much enthusiasm was manifested especially over the races where the close tiuishes occurred occurredJockey Jockey They met at ciiial weights this afternoon and this coupled with the fact that the going at Woodbine was supposed to suit the Canadian colt better than that at the Montreal track was in a great measure moved up on tly outside and caught him and in the long drive through the homestretch the pair fought it out t algary always had a slight advantage until the last stride when Leocharos managed to poke
