GOVERNOR GOLDSBOROUGH TAKES ACTION Chief Executive of Maryland Seeks to Put Stop to Racing1 at Havre de Grace The Associated Press sent out the following dis ¬ patch from Baltimore yesterday Legal measures to stop racing at Havre do Grace were authorized by Governor Goldsborough today The governor has been informed by his law officers that the Harford County Racing Commission which controls the Havre do Grace meeting has never qualified under the law and that therefore all the racing that has been conducted there has been in violation of tho law The race track interests are expected to make a light in the courts in the event of an attempt be ¬ ing made to stop the meeting which expires by limi ¬ tation September 30
