NOTES OF THE TURF The commission accruing to the Pimlico manage ¬ ment from the parimutuels is exceeding In amount the revenue formerly derived from the bookmakers 11 T Wilson is among the eastern owners who have made a liberal number of entries for the Blue Bonnets stakes The Blue Bonnets track is in ex ¬ ceptionally good condition for so early in the season and Montrealowned horses are now receiving their training over it regularly regularlyII II G Bedwell who has not raced on the Canadian circuit for several years has made several entries for the stakes of the Montreal Jockey Club and has made application for stabling accommodations at Blue Bonnets He plans to race at other Canadian tracks tills season as well wellIt It is announced that Edward B McLean of Washington I C son of John R McLean in ¬ tends to give up his 300000 stable of harness horses which have been winning ribbons right and left and go in for thoroughbred English hunters Mr McLean will sail for England May 17 to buy a string of thoroughbred English hunters which will probably be one of the finest if not the best in the country
