NOTES OF THE TURF. Donerail worked a mile in 1:59 in heavy going at Churchill Downs a day or two ago and is evidently lieing shaped up for his Kentucky engagements. It now looks as if the Kentucky Endurance Stakes lield would be made up of Pandorina. Cousin Puss. Sam Jackson, Milton B., Mission and Beautiful. Several trainers timed Buckhorn as going a mile in 1:37 in the last part of tlie race in which he made a new track record for one niile and seventy yards at DhtighiH Iark on Wednesday. Plnhooker, he delivery wagon thoroughbred that was entered for the Kentucky Endurance Stakes by Stemlle A; I digesting of Louisville, having failed utterly iu training for the event. Is back at ids old vocation again and has seen his last of the race track. Former Jockey Kunz. who had the horsu in training at Churchill Downs, has gone to his home at Los Angeles, Cal.
