DISTURBERS BARRED AT HILLCREST. Toronto, Ont., October 4. Plnkerton men stationed at the gates at Hillcrest today kept out about a dozen foreigners who were ringleaders in yesterdays riot and totlays racing passed off without any untoward Incident. The largest crowd of the meeting attended aud the fourteen books were besieged all afternoon. Only three favorites. Bursar. Cloak and Coreopsis, came home in front, but all three were well backed. Jockey Chappell, who was Injured yesterday, was unable to ride, but will be back in the saddle Monday. Modern Priscilla took a fall at the eastern bend today and jockey II. Wilson escaped with a sprained shoulder.
