MARGARET LOWRY began slowly, but moved up steadily all the way and, finishing with a rush, got up in the last stride. CHRISTMAS EVE showed high speed in pacemaking most of the way. but tired in the stretch drive. IRIDESCENCE lost ground by going wide, but finished fast and gamely. GAMP, showing the most sliced from the start, ran into a good lead quickly and held her advantage all the way, but tired in the stretch and Just lasted long enough to win. BITTRA, much the best, began slowly and was forcud to go wide, but closed a big gap and barely failed to get up. MACK B. EUBANKS saved much ground and finished gamely. LUCILLE ALLEN ran in closest pursuit to the stretch and tired. WILLIS ran a good race. DETOUR ran badly. Scratched 11S20 Duquesne, 111; 11S20 Mira Dell, 103. PATRUCHE. practically left, closed a big gap and was going fast at the end. "WANDER only ran fairly well and bad no mishaps. AMON ran well for three-quarters and would have been closer up with better riding. UNCLE HART set the pace for three-quarters and tired fast In the stretch.
