BRIGHTON BEACH FINANCES. New York, Oct. 27. After its long fight to sell its property over again the Brighton Beacli Racing As-"-sot-iutlou has won a rather doubtful victory, although Justice Garretsou in the Brooklyn Supreme Court has acceded to its request. Tlie conditions imposed bv the justice make it rather improbable the association will take advantage of a resale. Not only must the association pay to the referee; in cash, an amount to cover his fees, not to mention the expenses necessary to cover advertising a resale, hut it must give a bond, with sureties to be approved by the court, and either bid 0,000 more than the amount realized on the lirst sale or give assurance some other party will bid that much more. On top of all this the association must also repay the lirst purchaser the amount already paid on tlie first mortgage, with interest. The track or the Brighton Beach Racing Association was sold after tlie foreclosure of mortgages last August, but the owners claimed it was not a just salt- and have been urging the courts ever since to permit a resale.
