NOTES OF THE TURF. Jockey Charles Peak, who was seriously injured when be was thrown from Floral Park during the last meeting at Latonia, was able to leave St. Kllzabeths hospital at Cincinnati yesterday and left at once for ills home in Hot Springs, accompanied by bis mother. George Archibald, an American jockey who has ridden with notable success in Continental Europe for the past few years, was married at New York on Saturday last to Miss Claire Hamel, of Berlin. The bride arrived in this country Saturday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Archibald are on their way to the bridegrooms native state, California, to spend a two mouths honeymoon. Archibald, who is a cousin of tiie late noted rider, Henry A. Spencer, won the Austrian Derby and other stakes of importance this season. He has been re-engaged to ride abroad for the next three years and will return to Europe about March 1.
