MARYLAND JOCKEY CLUBS PUBLIC SERVICE. Balitmore. Md., November 27. A check for S600 from the Maryland Jockey Club for the fresh air class at school No. 7G, Clement and Hull streets. Locust Point, has been received by Miss Persls K. Miller, the principal. The class, the first of its kind to be started In the public schools of Baltimore, lias just begun its third week. The desks are placed in the school yard, with only, the blue skv for a covering. It was through the interest of Dr. Warren Buckler, who is detailed to the medical work of the school, that the open air class was made possible. The gift of the Jockey Club was made through Dr. Buckler with the one stipulation that it be used for the health of the children and none of it spent for furniture.
