Joel Leads Successful Owners in Aggregate of Winnings Jest Chief Money-Winning Racer Danny Mahcr Leading Jockey. With concurrent meetings at Manchester and Ling-field the huglish tiat racing season of 1913 came to a close Saturday, Novemuer 22, aud complete statistics of the year are now at hand. Among the owuers J. 15. Joel lauded first, witn a total of 25,-o75, and not far behind him was K. II. llulton with 2;,345. Both were far in advance of all competitors. But the colts raced in sadly contradictory fashion until Cantilevers defeat of Tracery in the Jockey Club Stakes and subsequent victory in the Cambridgeshire seemed to give 1, f 111 some claim to be the best of his age. Other trainers were not so consistent In all departments. For instance, John Watson was sixth in money won. but does not appear at all in the other two tables. G. Lambton was second in races won, fifth in number of winning horses and third in money won. C. Morton, who trains for J. B. Joel, was tenth In races won and had no place In the list of principal trainers In number of winning horses, but was second in money won.
