WAITING ON THE LEGISLATURE. Baltimore, Md., December 14. Edward Burke, of New York, general manager of the Havre do Grace race track, was asked yesterday when the burned grandstand and clubhouse at the track would be re-built. He replied: "We will rebuild in lime for the spring meeting. It will not take long to rim up the buildings after the material is in hand." It Is understood that the grandstand will not be rebuilt until it Is ascertained exactly what the Legislature will do with the race track question. It is KCtPd that a bill will be introduced to prohibit i ace track gambling all over the state, and that still another bill will be onered providing for a .State Racing Commission, as in Kentucky. A State Racing Commission would ndont uniform systems of betting and this would mean the par! imitucl method which is now In use at Pimllco.
