BRINGHDRST THE STAR OF THE CAMDEN ESTABLISHMENT i J. N. Camden experienced the pleasure of racing high-class two-year-olds of his own breeding this year, as he also did in 1912, when his Helios was one of the bright particular stars of the rear. Unfortunately for our breeding Interests of the future he then deprived Helios of any opportunity of reproducing others of iiis kind and his Rringhurst and Impcrator of this year were subjected to the same cruel mutilation. Briughurst was one of the front rank two-year-olds of 1913, not quite in the class of Old Rosebud, and Little Nephew, but not far behind those Hying sons of Uncle. That he was able to win eight of his thirteen races tells its own story of his excellence. Iniperator was also a promising voungster and winner of three of his six races, while his Oeet filly. Casuarina, was one of the best of her age and sex. winnin-live races in seven starts. Helios did not race up to the high promise of ills two-year-old form, but showed great speed in sprinting at times, especially when lie ran second to Leochares in 1:10 at three-quarters of a mile and finished in front of Iron Mask at Douglas Park last October.
