B. SCHREIBER LEASES KENTUCKY FARM. Lexington. Ky., January 10. Rarney Schreiber today leased Mrs. Hardy Durhams Horse Haven Farm of 114 acres on the Newtown pike, four miles from Lexington. He gets possession March 1. at which time he will bring here from his farm at Sedalia, Mo., the stallion Nealon and about thirty-five thoroughbred mares. He already has Jack At-kin and Raunockburn standing near this city. Mr. Schreiber intends to sell his Missouri farm, fifteen mares, twelve, three and four-year-old horses twenty two-year-olds and fifteen yearlings at pri vato sale between now and March 1. He will leave here next week for Sedalia and from there will go to Charleston, to make book for about six weeks. The first thoroughbred foal of the year in Kentucky is a bay filly by Helmet Melton Mowbray dam of Clubs and Insurance Man, dropped at E. R. Kradleys Idle Hour Earm January 0. W. J. Young today bought from Miss Elizabeth Daingerlield, who was acting for Clarence II. Mackay, the two-year-old bay filly by St. Savin-Vantage dam of Irene Lindley. Deuce and Disadvantage, and the clam of Kastiti, by Haydeu Edwards.
