NOTES OF THE TURF. James S. Everman will handle the horses of C. E. Hamilton again this year. Seymour Veillers good horse Mimorioso, has been bleeding in his work of late at Juarez and also has a suspicious leg. Meelicka, one of the. likely two-year-olds at Juarez refuses to go to the post to race unless accompanied by a pony. Jockey Mandors arrived at Denver. Col.. Saturday and will seek re-instatenient in Kentucky. He has been under suspension for a long time. Princess Janice has been fired at Jnarez for splints and so has Hatina for other leg trouble. Mrs. M. It. Fanners horses are almost all incapacitated for racing just at present. Harry Payne Whitney has announced that Peter Pans services will be available to ten outside mares at a fee of 00 each and that Broomstick will be permitted to serve fifteen outside mares at the same fee. Although there are over S00 horses quartered at Juarez and close to 500 have raced, there are at present only nine horses on the schooling list. They are Droml, Panhachapi, Superiority, Strange Girl, Strike Out, Zulu, Ilex, Great Friar and Thistle Belle. Josefina Zarate, which Is racing so well at Juarez in the colors of J. F. and IT. S. Newman, is a half-sister to Execute, a horse that raced successfully in the colors of Powell and Parker. MInyon, her dam. is a sister to the good sprinters Booger Red and Sad Sam.
