P. T. CHINN GOING TO FRANCE. El Paso. Tex., February ::. Phil T. Chiun. one of the most prominent of the Kentucky delegation or horsemen at Juarez, announced today that ho had decided to accept an offer tendered him to train for a well-known French turfman and that he would leave New York about Anril 1 to assume the duties of Jiis new position. The seventeen horses that Chiun is racing here, owned jointly by himself and Catosby Woodford, president of the Kentucky Association, will be sold at auction in the Juarez paddock Saturday. Februarv 21. In addition to his thoroughbred holdings, Chiun has an interest in the book conducted in the Juarez betting ring by Willie Applegate. For the present ho has decided not to make public the name of the French turfman whose terms he has accepted.
