THIRTY LEADING AMERICAN JOCKEYS. By dint of continued success in the saddle at Palmetto Park last week, the apprentice rider. F. Murphy, has advanced to third jdace in the American jockey list for 1911. He piloted nine winners last weelj. which must be considered an excellent showing for a boy of Murphys experience. It seems likely that if he resumes riding at Norfolk, the end of another vck will- find him in second place. J. McTaggart has a lead for first place that assures him the leadership for a long time to come. The record of the thirty leaders from January 1 to date, is as follows: Jockey. Mts. 1st. 2d. 3d. Unp.
