PROCEEDS AGAINST MINORU PARK. Victoria, B. C. October 7. By direction of Attorney-General Bowser, an action has been insti-tilted against the association responsible for the W race meetings at Milium Park. Vancouver, which, it is anticipated, will settle once and for all the question of legality of those lengthy meetings. The ollicers of the association have been indicted tinder the code for an Infraction of the Miller act. whlca prohibits race meetings of more than one weeks duration, twice a year. The case will come before the Assize Court at the sittings which open at Vancouver this week. The meeting at Minoru Park has now lasted morn than seventy days, while the weeks limit set i:i the Miller bill is observed everywhere else through- out Canada. The attorney-generals action is the result of representations made to him by the Vancouver Board of Trade last spring.
