BAMBOO was outpaced early, but came fast around the last turn and, taking the lead in the slretch. withstood a hard drive through the last eighth and outgamed DUNDREARY In the final strides. IUNDREARY showed the most early speed and held on well in the closing drive. OSMONDE raced well up throughout ami made a promising debut. JESTER began In a tangle and was forced wide for the entire way, but finished with a rush. CANNONADE tired in the stretch. BRINY DEEP dropped back after running a good half. ZALI ran well throughout and finished fast nnd gamely. CHAD BUFORD was a game contender from the start and, after being forced hack, came again. PRAETORIAN had to go widu and finished with a rush. TORY MAID was forced hack soon after the start and came with a rush in the last eighth. PAN MAID swerved all over the course in the stretch. MENLO PARK was away slowly and ran a good race. FLORAL PARK was forced back slightly after the start, but ran a good race and finished fast. MORRISTOWN was hard ridden , and gained steadily in the stretch. LOUISE PAUL finished witli a rush. PRESUMPTION showed speed, but tired in the last quarter. THE REACH ran well. BENANET acted badly at the post. CHARTIER propped at the start. .. MARY ANN K. ran well and, staudlng a hard drive resolutely through the last three-eighths, wore COPPERTOWN down in the last seventy yards for second place. COPPERTOWN acted badly at the post and, beginning in a tangle, tired near the end. LOVE DAY was practically left at the post and closed a good gap. MOCKLER ran forwardly for a half mile and quit.
