DERVISH raced lapped on CARLONE from the start and, taking a small lead in the stretch, kept 1 it in a hard final drive. CARLONE set a fast pace and was bumped by the winner a couple of times in 1 the last sixtee.ith, but finished resolutely. LEONNINE saved ground on all turns and made a fast finish. 1 LEY MAU was shuttled back at the start and lost ground by a wide stretch turn. VIFIR closed a gap and 1 finished fast. BATTERY began slowly, but worked his way up on the outside and finished fast and gaining steadily. OAKHURST began tlatfooted and was shuttled back on the first turn. MISS ELEANOR ran a good race from a slow beginning. DR. DOUGHERTY and EL ORO showed speed, but tired. The winner was entered for 00: no bid. Scratched 170S5 Lady Rankin, 100. SCALLYWAG was in a lam on the far turn and stumbled, then finished with a rush. BRIAR PATH raced into a small lead in the stretch, but gave way in the final drive. PRAIRIE ran a good race and so did HA PENNY. HONEY BEE was away poorly. CHUCKLES quit. The winner was entered for ,000; no bid. The latter went through on the inside on the turn into the baekstretch and took a clear lead, but came wide on the home turn and tired. LITTLE ENGLAND ran a good race. ORPEHTH ran poorly.
