BROOM FLOWER, after racing prominently from the start, wore the tiring J. B. IIARRELL down in he stretch and w going away at the end. J. B. IIARRELL went to the front with a rush in the first eghth and set tlie pace to the stretch, but his rider was of little help to lilni when lie tired. REFLECTION raced forwardly and finished fast and gaining. ALHENA closed a gap in the last quarter. Tiio others were outnaced. The winner was entered for 00: no bid.
