WARDHAS MANCHESTER HANDICAP. The last important stake race of the English tint racing season of 1914, the Manchester November Handicap for three-year-olds and over, was run at Manchester last Saturday. The distance was one and one-half miles and the winner was D. Jardiiie s threi-vearold liay colt Wardha. by Wargravo Clerngh carrying the bottom weight of Ml pounds. Second to him was P. Xelkcs four-year-old chestnut colt China Cock, ! Santo! High leather. 1--laiuiids. and C. Howards four-year-old bay Iillj Solomons -Mine, by Sol imau Scotch Mine. 9J pounds, finished third. Wardha was at 9 to 1. while it was 50 to 1 agaiiwt Chum Cock and .... to 1 n-ainst Solomons Mine. Last year this event was won by the American horse Dalmatian.
