EASTERNERS GET PRICE ON YEARLINGS. Lexington. Ky.. December 17. W. II. Karrick, -after spending three days here, returned to New York last night with prices on a number of thoroughbred yearlings to be submitted to Messrs. II. K. Knapp and F. It. Hitchcock. Karrick saw the youngsters in this section and liked a number of them. "Tho prices," said be, "are as high as tlie proverbial cats back, but I am not willing to say that the animals I saw are not worth what their owners are asking for them."
