USEFUL PLATERS IN THE STEVENSON STABLE 4, D. Stevenson had no racer of any great account in action this year, In view of which he may be said to have reaped more than an average measure of success. The jumper Syosset heads his list of money gainers and proved himself of more than average merit in the illegitimate branch of racing. His Bannock-burn thrte-yeai-old J. J. LiUIs showed decided improvement over his form as a two-year-old and in winning seven races achieved quite a creditable record. Joe Rosenfield was quite speedy and but for going wrong might have done even better than J. J. LIUls. He defeated fast horses at Empire City with ease. The iwo-year-olds in the stable did not do much and the stable record was as follows: Horse. Col. and Sex. A. Pedigree. 1st. 2d. 3d. Won. Syosset br. g. 4 By Migraine Sir ter Stella ti 4 2 $ 4,303 J.
