There Was no unproductive material in the stable, each inmate contributing more than 81,000 and thus paying a compliment to George Odoms good judgment in their selection and purchase when yearlings. The filly Coquette was the stables chief winner and in her best, estate was not far behind the best of her age and sex. Included in her spoils of victory were the Clover Stakes, at Aqueduct Tune 29 in which she defeated such ns Pixy, Catalina, Sea Shell and Lady Barbary. and the Demoiselle Stakes at Empire CItv, July 13. which she won from Comely and Brigs Sister, but really should have Lecn second, owing her success on this occasion to a bit of bad riding on the part of Comelys jockey.
