EUROPEAN WAR DEVELOPMENTS Berlin advices are that Warsaw is now menaced by two German armies north of the Vistula On the right baiik of the river moving eastward through Plock the German advance guard has reached a M sition a few miles from Vysogrod less than forty miles from the Polish capital The center of von Hindetiburgs right wing in the Przasnysz region Is less than lifty miles from Warsaw and is making steady though necessarily slow progress to the south In the last twentyfour hours there has been n lull in the lighting while both sides are massing for uew battles to be fought west of Vysogrod and to the north of Warsaw On the right bank of the Vistula the Russians are retiring on their strongly fortified nositious at Vysogrod The town commands the crossing of the river at this point where the Vistula and the Bznra converge Kussian victories at both ends of the long battle line particularly in eastern Galicla around ijtanislau were claimed in Pertograd dispatches from the
