MOUNT ROYAL MEETING OPENS WELL. This lnirse litis raced with success on the Canadian tracks. The bright and warm autumn weather served to attract a larger attendance than on any of the days of the last meeting. Jockey N. Foden was married in Toronto yesterday to Miss Rose Leet. a Canadian girl. The officials for the meeting are practically the same as tlie last meeting. Martin Nathauson is racing secretary and presiding judge. Elmer Lawrence is paddock judge and timer. It is said that J. A. Melseu has been granted a charter to operate a race track at Walkerville, Ont. He left here last night for Detroit.
