December 4. — A canvass of the thoroughbred horses in training at Pleasantou diM-losed that eight of the horsemen will ship their string to Tia Juana. In the list are George M. Van Gorden wbo will ship seven, including the good two-vear-old Carl Robert*, and five coming two-year-olds which will be eligible to race on New Years Day J Dunlap. with the Colorado Derby win ner Stolen Ante, and two others, is also going to U«Wr Calfomia. as is John Kane with Lady St. Patrick Frank Bbinheart will ship five. Glmli, Brando. The Feller. Tom Chapman and a two year-old, while W. J. Dunn will send Thistle Bell, Darkey and Esperado.
