New York, December 7.— Of the 528 original entries received for next years Futurity. 140, or a trifle more than 35 per cent., are eligible Forty-two sires are represented by the eligibles, with the English-bred son of Isinglass and Astronomy, Star Shoot, leading the list with twentv-seven" representatives. Gifford A. Cochran and John E. Madden are represented by eleven fillies and eleven colts respectively by this great stallion, while James Butler. H. II. Hewitt. II. K. Knapp. John Sanford and R. T. Wilson have each nominated one Ballot, the son of Yoter, recently acquired by T C McDowell for Charles Berry man at the Haggin sale tor o.j00. finds representation through entry by numerous owners to the number of seventeen, while 1 arker Whitney is next on the list with nine sons and daughters of Yon Tromp. eight of which have been vested with names of places adjacent to New lork city. Ira Kuykeudal has named eight colts anil fillies by Interpose, and Voter and All Gold stand next on the list with seven each, the sons and daughters of the latter sire being named by Harry Payne Whitney, among which is a colt bv Jersey Lightning, the dam of Regret. Thunderer and other good ones.
