DORVAL JOCKEY CLUB TO FAY DEBTS. Montreal. Que.. December 2 ». — Arrangements for li.e payment of the long-overdue llorval Jockey Club purses have lieen completed. There recently has lieen a change in the directorate of the club. Fred Kichard. a well-known local sporting man. and alderman Bastein having lieen added to the list of directors to replace Krnest Pecarie and J. Versailles, who resigned as metnliers of the board. The monev for the payment of the purses and other outstanding debts has lieen assured by the newcomers mid a new secretary has lieen chosen. The date set for the payment of the purses is January ::. by which time the club will be placed on a good financial footing. The annual meeting of the club will lie held in February, when Sam N. Holman. who holds a good share of the clubs stock, will be reappointed as manager. __________
