MORE THOROUGHBREDS COMING OVER. New York. DecemlsT 88. — On the steamship Manhattan, due Ivecemlier 29. there are n-arly seventy head of thoroughbred horses, mostly yearlings, coming ■" from the Newmarket sales, with a few older BSfsen, of which Baumgarten is said to be betler •* than the average. Clark, well-known in the financial world 1,1 of New York, is a newcomer or. the turf. He is is getting a stable of imputed horses together, which ch : re o] ecl.-d here in a day or two.
