February 3. — Tlie three-quarters handicap, that had the place of most prominence on the Juarez card today, was won by the lightly- weighted Lackrose. which came in for substantial backing at remunerative odds. He divided the early running with Fgiuont and finally shook him off and went on to an easy victory. Brooks, another of the light weights, displaced Egmont for second money. Jockey Cmey was suspended for live lavs by the stew irds for rough riding on Egmont in the fourth race. Favorites fared poorly. Rhodes, winner of the third race, was quoted at 15 to I. The track was faster than it has been in some time. Judge Shelley received the stake blanks for the coming spring meeting at Lexington today and distributed them among the horsemen. —
