GARTH AND KTS MANY FLEET CHARGES. New York. March ::. - William Garili. who always comes to the races on the Maryland tracks in the spring with a band f tit borate, is preparing a big string at the old Benning coarse of the Washington Jockey Club. Carth is a past master when it comes t" lifting the jumpers, and there are few trainers who have say thing on him when it cornea to getting a two-year old ready. There are four two-year-olds la his string and reports come from Benning of good trials. One of the best of these youngsters is Judge Wingfield, a brown half-brother to Greetings, being I -on of Sea King and Good Tidings. He has shown some remarkably good trials and it is the present intention to send him to the |xist at Bowie. Other two year- Ids in the Garth String are Queen ■f the Sea. a chestnut daughter of Sea King— anteloupe: Dr. Nelson, a brown gelding by Sea Kins — Northern Girl: and Cherrv Belle, a bay daughter of Cherrv Fit— Belle Clem.
