B D u SARATOGAS MANY STAKES TO CLOSE. The Saratoga Associations formal announcement of many stake races on the flat to close for entries Monday, March 27, and also of four steeplechase stakes to close May 4. appears in the advertising department of this issue of Daily K. icing Form. It reveals a wealth of highly desirable events to be won in the hot days of next August and owners cannot set about making their entries too soon. Saratoga ainraally furnishes the culmination of high-class American racing and its long established track is the traditional battle ground of the equine hosts of the east and th" west. That old track was first raced over when the anguish and devastation of internecine warfare was fresh in our land and ever since the days of Kentucky. Kuth-1 leas and other forgotten racers of long ago it has been the track where turf reputations were made anil unmade. It will be a grand place to go a-- racing this year and the owner who foregoes tiie high privilege of taking part in its reunion of 1910 will lie accumulating regret for himself. Attention is culled to th- associations tempting advertisement published today.
