COLD AFFECTS LEXINGTON TRAINING. Lexington. Ky., April 7. — This was the coldest April morning experienced by trainers at the Kentucky Association track for many years, yet there were a number of visitors to see the somewhat •crimpy" gallops. The delegation from Hot Springs were a surprised aggregation, especially when it began sleeting. About noon snow began fulling and it had not ceased when darkness came. The veteran Howdy Howdy, from Oallahor Bros. stable, showed the most impressive move of the morning, three-quarters in 1:10%. A trio of two-year-olds from the same stable went three-eighths in better than :37. The fastest mile was Milestones 1:45. Edward Corrigan arrived here yesterday from Magnolia Springs. Ala. Andrew Plutt of New-York, arrived from Hot Springs and will remain until the close of the racing season. Fred G. Good of Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, yesterday bought from John E. Madden the two-year-old brown gelding by Plaudit — Meritorious and shipped him with Lightfoot to Douglas Park at Louisville. Todays work-outs were as follows: Bert Williams — Quarter mile in 23. Beauty Shop — Three-quarters in 1:18%. Blue Jay — Three-quarters in 1:22. Benedictina— Mil- in 1:49. Broom Flower — Mile in 1:45%. ! Commonada — Mile in 1:48. Col. McNab — Three-quarters in 1:18%. Du Floss— Three-eighths in M%. Dimitri — Three-quarters in 1:10%. Emerson Cochran — Three -quarters in 1:19. Gvpsy Flair— Mile in 1:45%. Oypsey George — Three-quarters in 1:21. Howdy Howdy -Three-quarters in 1:16%. Impression — Mile in 1:45%. Indolence — Mile in 1:45%. Little Sister — Three-quarters in 1:19. Milestone- Mile in 1:45. McAdoo — Three-quarters in 1:17.
