AUSTRALIAN TURF IS FLOURISHING. The depreciation in blood stook values in England has not extended to Australia. Prices were quite as good at the yearling sales as they were in ante-war days. The leading clubs in Australia have not seen fit to reduce the stakes for the important two and three-year-old race; and. until they do so, breeders may rely upon present prices being maintained in Australia. New South Wales breeders always watch the Victorian yearling sales with keen interest, as from them they get a fair indication of the prices likely to prevail at their own sales at Randwick at Faster. Kverything points to money being just an plentiful as usual at Sydney next month. — Melbourne Australasian.
