MANOKIN took the lead at once and, racing LOBELIA into defeat in the tirst three-eighths, was going away at the finish. VALERIE WEST came on the outside of the leaders when entering the homestretch and. finishing fast, outgamed LOBELIA for second place. The latter ran well, but tired in the final eighth. BON OTIS ran oil the inside for the entire way, bat was always outpaced. The winner was entered for 00; no bid. Overweights — Doc Meals, 1 pound. GOOD COUNSEL was badly outrun for the first half, but came through on the inside and finished with a rush. GLOMER closed a big gap and tired right at the finish. HOSE JULIETTE refused to start.
