J. G. GORMAN BUYS TWO JUVENILES. Ottawa, Ont.. April 24.— J. G. Gorman of this city lias two likely -looking two-year-olds entered for the Coronation Stakes at Toronto this year, and both will lie nominated for the Kings Plate of 1917. Mr. Gorman purchased the pair from John McCall. ex-M. 1*.. of Cobourg. and has named them Rivermead and Woodruffe. Rivermead is by Stan-bapa II. — Globe. Woodruffe is by Bowling Green — Bnrdine. Willie Meehan has l»een galloping the youngsters at Mr. Gormans place at Springfield Hark. Mr. Gorman will probably alignment his stable before the Ottawa and Montreal spring meetings start. He intends attending the sale of the Dur.vea imported thoroughbreds from France and England, which takes place at Belmont Park May 27. with the idea of making purchases. Mike Gormans mare. Puritan Lass, wintered well aud will be sent to Toronto.
