WOODTRAP «-aa green at the start, but closed a big gap while rounding the last turn and. ■lipping through next to the rail when entering the homestretch, out-tayed PALLY. The latter set a fa t early pace and endeavored to run out on the turn, but came again under hard urging and outstayed NIGHT OWL. The latter raced into the lead in the early running, but tired when challenged. JACK MOUNT was under punishment throughout. TE V CADDY also made up much ground. MONTRESOR saved ground on all turns. THE FINN FLYING FAIRY, PRINCE OF COMO and LORAC were eased up in the homestretch. SILICA ran a fast half and tired.
