The latter raced in closest pursuit and linished gaining on the winne-r. HARRY BASSETT II. began slowly and closed a big gap. KINGFISHER began slowly and was badly outpaceel in the early running, but closed up with a rush after being taken to the outside when entering the homestretch end won going awav. LYNETTE wore WALL STREET de vn in the homestretch, but tired after heading the latter. WALL STREET showed the most early spe-ed, but quit badly in the final drive. PAYMASTER sprinted into a long lead in the first quarter, but quit after going a half mile in the lead. The winner, entered for 00, was bid up to 05 and bought in.
