KEENE OFFERED A RUSSIAN ENGAGEMENT. Lexington. Ky.. June 29. — J. 0. Keene is in receipt of a cablegram asking him if he can at once go to letrograd. Russia, to train the stable of eightv horses for the Michael de Iizeroff estate. XIr. Keene today replied that he will go if a satisfactory proposition as to pay for his services is made. He is awaiting tin terms. If In- arranges to go he probably will dispose of his interest in Luke McLuke and the band of thirty broodmares he owns in partnership with John W. Schorr. Johnson N. Camden, chairman of the Kentucky State Racing Commission, has arranged with .1. C. Milam to continue as trainer during 1917 of his Hartland Stud thoroughbreds anil, within the next few days, he will send to tin- Kentucky Association track from his Spring Hill Farm, in Woodford County, a number of . callings to lie broken. Dun Xlorris will open a stable at the Kentucky Association course Saturday for the purpose of breaking yearlings. The first he will take up will lie for W* 11. Fizer.
