MORE OF HAVANAS NEW TRACK. Montreal, Que., July 13. Charles T. Ilenshall. who is here to assume his duties as manager of the Rack River Jockey Club, during the meeting commencing next Saturday, is enthusiastic over the concessions granted to him in Havana, Cuba. He speaks in the most flattering terms of the manner in which the Cubans do business. His concession is reported to be one of the best that has ever been granted to a promoter in Havana. AVork on the construction of the plant has already been commenced and it probably will be ready for the opening on Thanksgiving Day. Mr. Ilenshall stated that his company would build oik; of the largest amusement parks known, which will include a race track one mile and three-eighths in circumference, and a baseball park and tennis courts, while a vaudeville theater will also bo run in connection with the plant. The management of the baseball park and the arrangement of games will be offered to John J. McGraw, manager of the Giants. McGraw has been a frequent visitor to Havana and is well known there. The idea is to secure teams from the National and American leagues to play matches at Havana. There will bo afternoon and evening racing. On the afternoons when athletic events or baseball games are played the racing will be held at night, while on other afternoons the racing will be carried on. The plant is within a few minutes ride of the center of the city. The list of officials for the meeting are as follows: Charles T.
