MILES VIEW OF SELLING RACE RULES. Writing from Detroit to Daily Racing Form, Mr. P. .1. Miles says of a topic of current discussion: Through your columns, I wish to make, for consideration, a suggestion to eliminate the objectionable features existing in selling races. The owners bid to be the entered selling price plus first money. For instance a horse is entered to be sold for 1916.sh00, in an event which carries 00 to the winner, would make the owners standing bid ,000.
