CURRENT NOTES OF THE TURF. S. Miller Henderson will race eight of John E. Maddens horses in Kentucky the coming fall. T. P. Hayes intends to ship his string of horses to Fort Erie after the close of Hawthorne racing and rest them until the opening of racing at that Canadian course. Former jockey E. II. Garrison has obtained a contract on the services of jockey H. Woods, who lias just been reinstated by the Jockey Club. The contract covers the remainder of l!li. Nineteen Shir Shoot yearlings which James Butler recently bought from John E. Madden an; now on their way from Hamburg Place to Mr. Rutlers Eastview Farm, near Tarrytowii, N. Y.
