INJURY began slowly, but gained steadily after rounding into the stretch and "vVs going fast at the end. HIGH HORSE tired badly after setting the early pace and being a game contender to the stretch. RALPH S. was lucky for the entire race and, saving much ground on the turns, disposed of DARTWORTII in the first half and, under strong riding, outstayed FELLOWMAN through the last sixteenth. FELLOWMAN was well up from the start anil tired near the end after racing into the lead in the stretch. HUSKY LAD closed a gap but tired slightly near the end. LADY WORTH IXGTON closed a big gap. IIARWOOD tired. DARTWORTII set the early pact!, but quit. There was a jam on the lirst turn, causing TYPE and W. W. CLARK to fall. The winner was entered for 00; 110 bid.
